Los Blancos supporters weren't
going to miss the perfect opportunity to mock their rivals, were they?
Real Madrid fans took to mocking their bitter
rivals Barcelona as Cristiano
Ronaldo stole the
show in the Champions League final.
The Portuguese
- who is almost certain to win a fifth Ballon d'Or this season - broke the
deadlock in Real's clash with Juventus.
The
32-year-old forward latched onto a Dani Carvajal square ball on the edge of the
area and slotted home in the 20th minute.
A little
knick off the toe of Leonardo Bonucci saw his effort curl agonisingly away from
Gianluigi Buffon and into the corner of the goal.
But the Old Lady hit back through Mario Mandzukic, who scored
one of the greatest goals the competition has ever seen.
The two sides
went into the break level before Casemiro proved he isn't just one of the
greatest defensive midfielders in world football with a goal from a rocket
shot.
Ronaldo then added to Real's advantage just a
few minutes later, bagging his second and his side's third of the night.
Unsurprisingly, thousands of Los Blancos supporters quickly took
to social media to heap praise on their brilliant forward.
However, many also logged on to Twitter to poke
fun at their rivals Barcelona well,
it's what you'd expect them to do, isn't it?
