‘Dembele agrees Barca
deal’
Fascinating
reports are emerging about Barcelona’s pursuit of Ousmane Dembele claiming that
the player has agreed to sign a five-year deal with the Spanish giants. This is
despite no fee being agreed with Borussia Dortmund.
Sport report
that Barcelona won’t meet BVB’s demands for €80 million (£70.5 million).
However, they are prepared to part with €50 million (£44.1 million) plus
another €20 million (£17.6 million) in add-ons.
Legal
action
The
Mirror report that
Dortmund are furious with Barca over the aggressive manner in which they’re
pursuing and trying to unsettle Dembele. If they continue to annoy Dortmund
then the Bundesliga giants will take legal action.
Under
contract with Dortmund until 2021, Dembele won’t be sold unless Dortmund’s
demands are met.
Dortmund’s
sport director Michael Zorc said: “Ousmane
Dembele has a long-term contract. There are no negotiations.
“Dembele will play for BVB in
the coming season.
“If Dortmund is not contacted
[by interested clubs], we could initiate a FIFA procedure.”
