PARIS ST-GERMAIN have
made a world-record bid to beat Arsenal and Real Madrid to the signing of
Kylian Mbappe.
The French side are understood
to have offered £119m (€135m) for the 18-year-old forward, according to Goal.
Mbappe was in stunning form
last season for Monaco, netting 26 goals and providing 14 assists in all
competitions.
PSG
were not interested in the France star a few weeks ago but with Antero Henrique
becoming the new sporting director priorities have changed.
The
supremo is even said to have met up with Mbappe’s father on two occasions.
The
striker is reportedly looking at a move to PSG as a potential springboard to
his ultimate dream of playing in Spain for Real Madrid.
Monaco do not need to sell
their star after letting Bernardo Silva leave for Manchester City earlier this month.
French
newspaper Le Parisien claimed yesterday Mbappe is very
interested in moving to Arsenal because
of Arsene Wenger’s record with young players.

“Wenger,
he is a great,” a source said.
“If Mbappe were to sign for
Arsenal tomorrow, it would be for him.
“He
knows how to produce youngsters and especially former French international team
forwards, Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka. Only playing in the Europa League
is not an obstacle for him.”
Mbappe
is set to make a decision on his future when he returns from holiday.
