at Talen Energy Stadium on June 14 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Union's Open

but the match is free to all STM. All Union parking lots will also be free,
however, Lot A will be closed.

donations for the match.
To
get you excited for the match, here are some of the major moments in Union US
Open Cup history.
2012:
The
Union notched their first US Open Cup win in 2012, when they defeated Rochester
Rhinos 3-0. Jose Martinez scored in the fifth minute to open the scoring, and
then Freddie Adu added two goals to give the Union a 3-0 victory.
The
Union later defeated DC United 2-1 in the fourth round, needed extra time in a
physical match which saw both teams go down to 10 men. In the quarterfinals,
the Union faced Harrisburg City for the first time, defeating them 5-2 before
falling to Sporting Kansas City 2-0 in the semifinals.
2014:
The
Union needed extra time in three matches in order for the team to advance to
the Finals for the first time in club history. In the fourth round, the Union
scored two extra time goals from Andrew Wegner to get past Harrisburg City,
then a penalty kick goal from Sebastien Le Toux advanced the Union past New
York Cosmos and into the quarterfinals.
The
final extra time match for the Union was the semifinal match against FC Dallas,
where the Union advanced after winning penalty kicks 4-3. Unfortunately, the
Union's quest for the US Open Cup fell one win short.
2015:
2015
was the most tightly contested tournament for the Union, as the team advanced
through the tournament with 1-goal wins or in penalties. A scoreless draw
against Rochester saw the Union advance on penalties, 3-1, and then the Union
defeated DC United 2-1.
In
the quarterfinals, the Union needed penalties again, defeating Red Bulls 4-3
after a 1-1 draw through the first 120. In the semifinals, Le Toux scored the
Union's only goal, bringing the Union to its second straight Open Cup
Championship game. The Union's penalties luck ran out, as the team fell 7-6 in
penalties to Sporting Kansas City.
