Real Madrid are determined to win the race to sign
Kylian Mbappe, preparing a staggering €135million offer for the Monaco
sensation.
Scoring
15 goals in 29 Ligue 1 games this season, Mbappe has emerged as one of the
brightest talents in world football.
A host of top clubs are desperate to secure his services and Arsenal reportedly saw a €100m bid knocked back last week.
Real
have already seen two offers rejected by Monaco but French outlet RMC say the
Champions League winners intend to table a third bid.
If
accepted, the offer would smash the world-record fee for a player, currently
held by Manchester United’s French midfielder Paul Pogba
Monaco
have shown no desire to sell Mbappe this summer but €135m on the table may be
too good to refuse.
With
Real refusing to give up their chase, Mbappe’s future looks increasingly set to
be at the Bernabeu rather than the Emirates.
Arsene
Wenger has opened up on his transfer plans this summer and suggests he will
continue to look for bargain deals rather than ‘big’ signings
