With the 2017 NBA Draft fast
approaching, we break down the three best landing spots for FSU Basketball
prospect, Dwayne Bacon.
Landing
four top-30 talents in three straight cycles is no easy feat — especially for
FSU Basketball. And the guy who deserves the most credit for kick-starting that
recent recruiting boon is Dwayne Bacon.
The
Lakeland product was the first of them to commit to Leonard Hamilton’s program
back in September 2014, and since then, the team from Tallahassee has enjoyed a
fair amount of success.
So
it was only fitting that after two years with the Seminoles, Bacon took his
talents to the next level by declaring for the 2017 NBA Draft.
Despite
his success at the college level — averaging 16.5 points and 5.0 rebounds for
his career — the 6-foot-6 scorer is projected to go in the second round. But
that’s all right! Plenty of incredible players were taken between picks No. 31
and No. 60.
However,
for a guy taken in the second round to have success, fit matters. That’s why
we’re going to break down the three best potential landing spots for Bacon in
the upcoming draft.
