"GIVE US COUNCIL ESTATE WEIRDOS."
It's officially summer in the UK, and that can only mean one
thing: a brand new cohort of housemates have now entered the Big Brother house.
And true to form, this year's set of hopefuls have whipped up a
lot of opinion on social media – but this time there seems to be only
one question on everybody's (virtual) lips.
Where are all the civilian housemates at?
Yep, a whopping six out of 16 housemates have all featured on
reality series ahead of Big Brother, and viewers are not at all
happy with the show's new approach to fielding contestants.
Some of you took to
social media to slam the latest series as an Ex on the Beach reunion,
after it was revealed three housemates have appeared on the MTV reality show.
When it's supposed to be a civilian series but they fill
the house with people who've already done reality shows.. #BBUK. #BBUKLaunch.
This what annoys me about #BBUK they av people
on who av already been on TV. Go back to basics & get unknown people.
WE DONT WANT PPL THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN ON TV. GIVE US
COUNCIL ESTATE WEIRDOS #BBUK
I miss the days when @bbuk had genuine members of the
public and not "sort of" famous wannabes.. they've all been on TV
before... #BBUK
