Klopp's men kicked off their pre-season fixtures with a 4-0 win at Tranmere on
Wednesday
Liverpool travel
to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic on Friday night as they continue their
preparations ahead of the new season.
The Reds were in action on Wednesday night as they eased
to a 4-0 win at Tranmere Rovers, and are expected to give most of their main
stars a run out against the League One side.
Fans will be hoping to see new £34million signing Mohamed Salah in action after the Egyptian sorted
his work permit earlier this week.
Jurgen Klopp is looking to get his players ready for the
return of the Premier League in August, where Liverpool visit Watford on the
opening weekend.
He'll be hoping to build on a good 2016/17 that saw his
team secure a fourth place finish in the league., and with it a return to
Champions League football.

1. When is the match and where can I watch it?
It's a 7.30pm kick off at the DW Stadium on July 14, and
Reds fans will be able to watch the game on LFCTV.
2. Team news
Mohamed Salah is line to make his first appearance in a
Liverpool shirt after travelling to Paris to finalise a work permit on Tuesday.
There could also be first pre-season workouts for
Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Simon Mignolet after the trio missed
Wednesday's win at Tranmere having been given extra time off following summer
internationals.
Emre Can has
still not reported back to training and won't feature, along with Sadio Mane
who is out with a knee injury.
Also doubts are Divock Origi, Dejan Lovren, Alberto
Moreno and keeper Danny Ward but none of their injuries are thought to be much
more than minor niggles.
